JD McKenna, a professor in the business management department at CTU and individual member of
RMTA, is investigating how local businesses utilize certain information technology techniques
for strategic planning and competitive advantage.
According to Mr. McKenna, “In today's knowledge centered business environment, many organizations'
most valuable asset is their Intellectual Capital. Often times, these assets only reside in the heads
of the people who work for the organization. At the end of the day, when these workers walk out the
door, they take their collective knowledge with them.”
As part of his research, he is surveying medium sized organizations (20 - 200 employees) about the
organization's knowledge management practices; he is particularly interested in organizations that
are not using any methodology. The interview takes 30 - 45 minutes.
If you fit the desired profile and are interested in participating in the survey, call Mr. McKenna
at 719-592-0895.
The next version of the RMTA web site will include a Members Only Opportunity Exchange for posting
and replying to opportunities of many types related to the RMTA mission, including those
collaboration on technology research or commercialization and requests for help with research
similar to this request. Stay tuned.
